This little project turned into a nightmare when having spent the best part of two days editing the video my editing programme kept crashing on me. If you take one thing away from having watched this video, please whatever you do don’t buy Pinnacle video editing software. It is so unstable it is untrue! I have uninstalled and reinstalled this programme at least 5 times now, following advice from their ‘support’ department, and I still have real problems with it. Anyway I ended up rendering the video in small sections as MPEG4 files before combining them into 1 file useing DivX Plus converter programme. The reason I persist with Pinnacle is because I spent quite a bit of money purchasing it and am determined to get my money’s worth. (That’s my Scottish heritage revealing itself now). I do like some of the great effects that Pinnacle have though, some of which I have used in my videos, and more than a few in this particular video – hope it’s not off putting! These are the ‘Magic Bullet’ effects available within Pinnacle Studio software created by Red Giant and offer some amazing tweakable looks to the videos. Anywho, I got there in the end and here it is – a little jaunt from Miami International to Naples, (Naples Italy that is).
